BAT INDONESIA IS LOOKING FOR ASSISTANT MANAGER MARKETING FINANCE

JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager Marketing Finance

ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

  • Business Partnering skill: Strong communication skill, confidence to interact with more senior leaders, assertive, and not avoiding conflict
  • Commercial acumen: Strong sense of commercial, i.e. understand consumer journey from being aware of the brand to the purchase decision, keep up with latest trend in the market, curiosity to learn consumer behavior
  • Finance savvy: Strong with excel and numbers, strong logical thinking to evaluate different options

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead Monthly Closing activity including but not limited to reviewing accrual, reconciling SAP and BPC figures, monitoring actual marketing spend vs budget, and ensuring accuracy of journal postings to accounting standard and internal guideline
  • Coordinate Budget Planning & Review with Marketing Business Partner Review including but not limited to aligning available budget with marketing team, providing inputs, insights on effectiveness of the program, reviewing detail actions plan of the spend i.e. mechanics, costs, control, etc.
  • Ensure the governance implementation of Marketing spend including but not limited to ARF submission based on agreed detail activities, cost assumptions, control mechanics, Review ARF compliance on existing ARF Dashboard i.e progress/status of approval, number of budgets requested, review and maintain ARF approver both finance and function manager following people moves in respective area
  • Leading the preparation of monthly reporting including but not limited to Brand Profitability, GPM deck, MOPE Budget Holder input.
  • Co-create Business Case for New Product Launch with Marketing, stress-testing assumption used, calculating the NPV and Payback Period, and bringing visibility to all potential risk and sensitivities
  • Enforce due diligence on Post Implementation Review (PIR) for all Marketing activities based on agreed SLA, ensuring qualities of insights and learning, and documenting all PIRs into one SharePoint
  • Participate in Tender Committee to ensure vendor selection are done properly and give financial review into each of vendor options

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

  • 3-5 years’ experience in any manufacturing or FMCG industry and understanding of operations finance
  • Good knowledge of SAP system, & consolidated financial delivery software
  • Initiative and proactive approach to the delivery of Marketing finance ambitions
  • Ability of good communication, negotiation and problem solving
  • Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related field, or accounting certification (ACCA/CPA/CMA/CISA) preferred
